Upton Metal Works was established in 1953 in Torquay and we are looking forward to celebrating our 60 years' anniversary next year. Our recent relocation to Dainton Manor Estate, near Newton Abbot, allows easier access to cover all areas of the South West - Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset and we are happy to make site visits and discuss new projects with client or Architect with no obligation or hard sell (we prefer to let our quality workmanship speak for itself).

Upton Metal Works Devon is a well-recognised manufacturer and installer of quality steel fabrications, both for the private and commercial sectors. We specialise in steelwork ranging from stand-alone projects to smaller bespoke metal works. About us
Based in the South West, just outside Newton Abbot, the factory is approximately 2,000 sq ft of manufacturing workshop. Our facilities/equipment allow us to offer the customer a wide range of steel products from general steel fabrications, including stainless steel, through to sheet metal components, all to BS standards.
Our workforce has many years' experience within the metalwork industry and this provides the foundation that ensures the quality of your product is paramount. We are proud to offer a service where we can sit with our clients and develop something from concept through to final installation adhering to the principals of quality, delivery, price and customer satisfaction.
Location: Upton Metal Works factory at Dainton Manor Estate has easy access to all parts of the South West. Situated near the village of Ipplepen, we are two miles south of Newton Abbot on the A381 Totnes road. 5miles from Torquay and Paignton and the A38 Expressway to Exeter (20 mins). Plymouth (35 mins) and Bristol is approximately 1ΒΌ hrs away.
